You have every right to believe however you want, but I am not going to respect that belief. I think it is superstitious drivel. Oops, did I say that second part out loud.

(654 posts)I tend to say, while I acknowledge your right to any belief system you find comforting I refuse to respect any belief system that inherently identifies non-believers or alternate beliefs as heretical. I'm not obligated to respect a belief system that's comfortable identifying second class citizens.
