Doubly poignant.

Personal Whine - because I was doing a transcontinental move and temporarily staying with my Mom (though NOT in her basement), I didn't get to watch Season 5 until a week or so ago. Had to wait until I got moved in, got TV hooked up etc.
But once all that was done, I did a marathon - sat down and watched the whole Season straight thru.
Best "Game of Thrones" spoiler on the whole Internet: "All the characters we love in 'Game of Thrones' get killed. But they don't necessarily stay dead."

(1,573 posts)...but I saw "Atheist Arya" on I Can Has Cheezburger, didn't recognize her, and clicked on it. Figured she was some teen idol or something (I don't get out much). Found the Wikipedia entry on her, read about the TV series, bought the books, and devoured them this summer. What a great story. Can't wait for the next book!
