(49,533 posts)you really have to marvel at the PR campaign their FOX News consultant has put together. I mean, from a worldwide disgrace to consideration for a Nobel prize. Maybe you can't fool all the people all the time, but you sure as hell can fool a whole lot of them.

Maybe, in an incredible double accolade for "the causes of social justice," the Pope's buddy Kim Davis will win Rowan County Employee of the Year!

(18,219 posts)Anyone can be nominated, and I have no doubt that he has people willing to nominate him. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised to hear that most Popes have been nominated by someone.
