Ghost Hunters on Syfy might learn something from these charlatans.

(17,505 posts)They did this spoof of the British equivalent of "Ghost Hunters" where the paranormal investigators are at The Tower of London.... feeling a presence....in the women's bathroom...
hysterical!
But I can't find it on YouTube, alas.
(BTW... "Ghost Hunters" drives me nuts! It's so stupid. A bunch of grown men in some old building walking around intoning "Is anyone there? Who are you? Do you have something to tell us?" Then, in this old house to hospital or whatever some board creeks and they're all "WHAT WAS THAT???? Did you hear that?" ...like a bunch of 8 year olds at camp. So lame. I can't believe people watch it)

(9,356 posts)It was one of the "ghost hunter" shows but I'm not sure which one - just happened to be flipping channels and saw a bunch of excited people in an old house.
One woman ghost hunter, while waving around her Electromagnetic Field Detector, was shrieking: "A Presence! LOOK! I've detected a Presence!!!"
Sure enough, her EMF Detector was swinging wildly and pegging the scale.
Probably because she was holding it right beside a working electrical socket.
