So, 'Spotlight' might win an Oscar -

what are the chances that Blank Frank might go up to accept it the makers' behalf?

After all, they could justifiably say, "Without the Roman Catholic Church this film would never have been made"

I think the cinematographer should get it for that.

As I think I mentioned before, but I'm old...

You may also like the 2005 TV movie "Our Fathers." It covers the same story, the Boston Globe expose and the stonewalling/denials by the One True Church.

Worth watching just for Christopher Plummer's chilling portrayal of Cardinal Law(less). With Ted Danson and a generally fine cast.
