Later, theyd think: wait a minute. Theres no church in our side yard. And by then the church would be gone.
That happened to me, once. Only it was a Dairy Queen. It was the great "Hard Chocolate Covering" incident of "85"
Scores of people were minding their own business, mowing the lawn, clipping hedges, and all of the sudden, they would be covered in a thin but hard layer of yummy chocolate. And always with the little loop thingy on top. And the last thing they would see is a harmless looking Soft Serve Ice Cream franchise.
I still bear the scars today.
