Water is good. You can drink it. You can bathe in it. It helps grow food. It provides avenues for commerce. Without it, we're dead.

Water is only a force for good. All bad things people blame water for is human fault. Don't want to drown? Learn how to swim. Don't want to get flooded? Build your house on higher ground.

We all have free will. Drink me.

6. So many questions, so few answers...

So? When God flooded the earth, why were all but two of every animal and members if Noah's family ruthlessly KILLED? Had the animals sinned against God?

I've never understood why "some" prayers are answered and some aren't. Is God too busy to listen to all of them? Why do "miracles" happen for some, but not for others? Even if the same people are praying and with the same intensity?

IF there really was a GOD who watched over us all, I would actually hate that being for "allowing" all the horrible things in this world. A REAL GOD would want a happy, peaceful world with joyful people.

It's easier to believe in a alien GOD who looks at Earth as a petri dish or a playground for its amusement. One that enjoys beauty AND is also a sadist.

8. On the ground, Christians see God as Warren Buffet.

Not the actual Warren Buffet, but someone like him. Warren Buffet is powerful, but not omnipotent. He has acess to all kinds of information, but he's not omniscient. He seems like an OK guy, but it's not at all clear how benevolent he actually is.

And...if you get his attention and beg for his help, he might or might not decide to try. And if he tries, he might or might not succeed.

(Disclaimer: I'm agnostic about the real Warren Buffet.)

You blame everyone else, from God to Satan to brown-skinned people.

Even that guy who got fired at the brewery had to go back and inflict terror on innocent co-workers. He must have blamed them for his f*** ups that led to his termination. Since he killed himself anyway, he could have avoided the "middle man" and just offed himself.

We'd all understand--and so would those 5 families.

People need to grow up.

because a devil could only act with the total approval of an omnipotent god, so we're right back to the riddle of Epicurus, something Christians have been tapdancing around for 2000 years without once coming up with a coherent answer that doesn't turn god into one evil bugger who's using humanity like lab rats.

If there is a God, we are nothing more than an experiment to that being. It is easier to believe in "The Force" than to believe in a "loving God".

Satan is God's servant, doing God's will. In the New Testament it takes a Manichean turn with the Devil being a Great Power almost unto God.

It's sad seeing the dying embers of a religious mindset. Sad for them, good for everyone else.

Cindy Jacobs, co-founder of Generals International and a self-described faith healer who can turn metal into bone, make a grown woman grow taller, and control the weather, has a new way to stop the spread of coronavirus.

She just declared it illegal.

So there.
