I always say....1st, please show me how God can make a square circle and if you can, I will gladly join your church. Come back when you can demonstrate this proof. So far, no returns.

Whenever I've had Jehovah Witnesses or some other religious folks stop by my front door, I look at them and simply swing/close the front door immediately (you can usually see their bibles in their hands so you kind of know what they are there for), exercising my 'castle' doctrine (shut the front door doctrine).

Not a single word said by me during the whole brief encounter.

I don't have to listen to them or explain myself to them. My front door. My time, rest, whatever, and I'm not going to let them waste a single second of it, or waste a single breath on them.

They have no rights around me. By what right do they have to bang on my front door and then try to talk to me about something
that they have no prior knowledge of me, my history, my particular beliefs, anything?

It is very insulting to me if you ask me. And I also lost all respect for them when they intruded themselves onto my grandmother (who was very fragile/elderly at the time, preying (literally) on her), and my dad too. I chased them off my dad's property one time.

Vultures.

I'd rather they leave and ponder the question. Because they get an easy "sale" - my joining with a simple proof. So they dutifully note my question and report back to central on my question for return answer. Of course, the answer never comes and they don't return.

They start wasting their time trying to address it. Who knows? Maybe it starts the deprogramming process.

I enjoy engaging the engaged.

In dialog it is easy to get the god-guys to agree that God is infinite, unlimited, boundless, sentient and real.
As limitless-sentient-existence can't be qualities of God (coming and going), limitless-sentient-existence needs be the nature of God.
So far we all agree.

I have never had anyone return with answers to my next questions.

"How can you be real and conscious and separate from infinite God?"
"How can your sentient-existence be separate from the "limitless-sentient-existence" that you call God?"
"If no reality exists outside of God, why should I worry?"

BTW, I am not a theologian, I only exist as one in my boundless-dream-consciousness.

I had two women knock on my door, they asked me right up front "Do you know Gods plan for you?" I said "Yes!" And shut the door. I noticed that my neighbor 10 feet across the way invited them in. (Fuck!)

Months later a group of women walked down the street. One broke off to walk over while I smoked a cigarette. I honestly don't remember what she asked, but I told her I wasn't interested. She left and another came over. She asked which apt. I lived in so they wouldn't ask (bother) me again.

Finally some of these people are getting a clue as to when don't go back.

and after I manage to swallow my extreme disappointment in the nature of the universe, the question I will ask is why that god felt it so necessary to play hide and seek.

if he exists, is that its his absolute intention to remain mysterious to us. As plans go, that one sucks.
