Texas requiring "In God We Trust" posters in schools

....as long as the posters are "donated."

Texas does it again: empowering citizens to do the dirty work instead of the state or school authorities. Fucking cowards.

19 August, 2022 edition of The Monitor, a newspaper published in McAllen, TX. Could not find an electronic link.

At least they give some history and context with the story. Some...

I was 100% Scientist back then too.

But if I was in high school today I'd be tearing these suckers down as fast as they went up.

Who have no idea when this quote was even started, I say people there should inundate the school systems with all kinds of 'In God We Trust' posters and banners. Like this one:

In God We Trust:

to smite those who we don't like
to help us create a 'holy land' for those who believe
to destroy anyone or anything we decide we do not like, even when we used to like it before we decided to hate it

etc. I would hope that, as long as those four words are at the top, they have to display it. I would hope that the courts would make sure to uphold this law so that anything with those four words on it HAS to be displayed if it is donated.

But, I hope for a lot of things that reality shows are not do-able, even if they make sense on every level.

How it has to look and exactly what it can say. Even requires certain colors and images.

So much for separation of church and state.

It would be so much more useful if they just put up the real physical evidence for a god. I mean if the schools in Texas are teaching about a god anyway, the 1st thing they should put up on posters throughout the school should be the evidence.
