I just had a thought of sodium touching water...also completely different from salt.

Those anti-vax people should take a chem lab.

The quantity matters. And the form. And how one interacts with it. Eat too much NaCl and you will get sick, maybe die. Inject a significant quantity and you will certainly die.

Consider dihydrogen monoxide, for another example.

Not siding with the anti-vaxxers. Just annoys me when blanket statements are made. Also the "I feel" undermines the toon's message.

Is from an actual anti-vaxxer meme. They probably put that word in there to make it appear as if there is a reason to doubt the safety of getting vaccinated.

The toon below it is mocking it.

You are right in everything you say. IIRC a mom died from taking part in a contest for drinking too much water. Nothing is absolutely 100% safe.
