"Hairstylist and spiritual advisor..."

Yep, that's what it actually said on the screen.

Specifically, hairstylist and spiritual advisor to Elvis Presley. Some knucklehead named Larry Geller.

Featured in the documentary 200 Cadillacs, about Presley's penchant for giving away Cadillacs to his friends, cousins and sometimes complete strangers.

Explanation: I'm always looking for Elvis stuff for my Mom, when I visit her at Xmas. One of her gifts this year was a WD-TV box that I loaded up with movies etc. for her.

"200 Cadillacs" was just a little too hagiographic for my tastes.

But because I'm a good son, I watched it with her.

And because I'm a bad son, I also gave her the snarky old Showtime movie Elvis Meets Nixon. About the mysterious weekend in Dec. 1970 when Presley really did meet Nixon. And asked if he could become a "DEA agent at large."

The official photo shows Elvis was clearly qualified as a drug expert...

6 different pictures and a second chance drawing. They're selling like hotcakes.

I love all of the little Elvis "back stories".
