Gwyneth Paltrow is at it again. Bras cause cancer.

Ridiculous Claim of the Week: Bras Can Cause Cancer

Gwyneth Paltrow, Hollywood’s biggest purveyor of nonsense has done it again, securing the most ridiculous (and arguably most infuriating) comment of the week by suggesting on her Goop website that bras can cause cancer.

In an article on her website, written by Habib Sadeghi D.O. (that’s a Doctor of osteopathic medicine, here is the link to Quackwatch about Osteopaths), he recants an old discredited study. As explained in the osteopath’s article on Goop

Paltrow is a strangely polarizing force. DU sometimes hates her and sometimes loves her, depending on her most recent performance/declaration.

She's about as qualified to issue medical directives as I am qualified to portray Emma.

has been around for some time.

Ancient people got cancer. Even dinosaurs got cancer, for Christ's sake. People like to pretend all cancer is a function of the modern world, but they are wrong, wrong, wrong.

There's gotta be some reason why she's the most disliked celebrity in Hollywood: Your guess is as good as any!
