What is more concerning is the corporate control of the media that occurs every minute of every day.

The public never heard the truth about the McDonalds coffee case and believes a woman got away with something for spilling coffee and became a multi-millionaire with a lawsuit. Why would the media report how she almost died as a result of McDonalds deciding to super heat their coffee to keep it fresh longer and get more coffee per bean? Why would they report that McDonalds knew this extra hot coffee was causing 2nd and 3rd degree burns but was still a huge new profit center?

I’ll give you the answer with another question:
Why would they rat out the terrible details that makes one of their biggest advertisers look real bad?

It has happened many times before (BP oil spill effects...).
