Anybody catch the meteor shower tonight?

I went out with my neighbor to watch the Perseid meteor shower only to discover a stout aurora borealis in progress. Lots of red.

Looking at the space weather aurora predictor, it indicates that tomorrow night should be a pretty good aurora that will extend pretty far south.

And the meteors will be going on as well.

so things weren't as vivid as usual but we had a wide open sky. Normally it would be cloudy or nasty out and we don't get to see these phenomena because of that.
