(3,556 posts)I never thought I would see water there. It might be worth driving over there to get a shot of it. I'll be about sixty miles away tonight at Trona Pinnacles.

I do find myself hoping maybe were seeing the climate changing in a beneficial way (bringing a dried-up lake back to life), but Im not declaring victory on this.

It's nice to see, but it's temporary, at least for now.

(3,556 posts)The DWP tried to make a park like attraction out of it, with walking trails and a few pieces of memorabilia. It wasn't very appealing.
