(31,893 posts)I didn't know about this group until someone in another group alerted me to it. As someone who's lost many loved ones over the years, I believe it's vitally important for people to have a safe place to discuss their grief. So I'm here to offer my support.

(193 posts)Just yesterday, I think. I'm generally new to DU anyways.
Last year, I lost my 87 y.o. mom to congestive heart failure, and two months later I lost my 62 y.o. sister to pancreatic cancer. I've been devastated, but doing ok. I keep thinking to myself, "Am I next?" It's very unsettling.
Glad this group is here!
