(152,214 posts)You have really been through it.
I hope that you're getting some really good therapy. You need it.

(52,791 posts)You have clearly had more to cope with than any single human being should have to face. This is a safe place to tell your story, but I hope at some point you will have the ability to bring a professional (well referenced, please) into your life to help you sort through all the pain.
My heart truly goes out to you.

(52,791 posts)Your Mother was an inspiration for you, and your tribute to her really touches my heart. It is so comforting to know that out of such pain and hardship can come a successful life, filled with love. She was very young to go, but her influence seems enormous, not just for you, but for all those who knew her.

(51,308 posts)Writing is the best way (if one is a writer) to exorcise the demons of our childhood. You are obviously a writer.
So let it out...yes this is the proper forum. You're among friends.
Something to think about KMOD. When you have the bravery to speak about your loss, a horrible experience...know this - that you give courage to those who also might need to talk about a similar situation. You hit a chord with me tonight as I already told you via PM.
Hey, you are strong. We all have to be.

Yes, life is good, but there are many sad parts.
You Mom was a wonderful model for you, and you had the opportunity to be there for her when you were needed.
And she found joy in your family and your happiness, and that is a good thing for you to know.
