(34,965 posts)i think we tend to lose the ability to actually see spirit as we grow up. but hopefully you will see signs that he is near you, with you, checking in, making you do a double-take & think twice ("was that a sign?" to just let you know he's not as far away as you think.

(18,791 posts)This just makes me think of a couple of things...
When my grandfather on my Mom's side passed away, one of my cousins (who was at his home and in bed) still swears to this day (grandpa passed in 1962) that grandpa sat on the end of his bed and talked to him...this being about a couple hours after he had passed...my cousin didn't know about grandpa dying.
When my Dad passed in 1998, it was maybe 2 weeks after that I had a "dream" around 6AM one day, that remains burned in my mind because it was so vivid it still brings tears, where my Dad simply said he had to go.
Mom passed this January...no visitations from her BUT oh how there were about 3 odd things that happened around 2 weeks later (I still love you Mom! )
I've talked over the last few months, with so many about their experiences.
