Her mom died a few months back. Im so sad for my uncle,(91) but Im so sad for our family. My cousin had advanced kidney disease and had a recent transplant. Her brother gave his. So proud of him and so sad my friend, my cousin is gone.

(124,496 posts)relationship to them has changed one more time. And it is so true. I think if the good times with my mom all the time and she has been gone 6 years.
It is changed again. And maybe Ill get lucky and dream of her, but otherwise it is just memories on repeat. Dont get me wrong, Ill cherish the memories. With every death of a loved one, you just wish for more time...

The last I heard she was about to be released from the hospital to go home. Long haul. Ive been away, so not there for her. It makes me sadder still. Anyway thanks for your kindness, Im leaning in.
