Doing fine. Taking despair and converting it. I'm involved with 4-5 activist groups (which is saying something for a loner). Posting many Trump Articles on Facebook. And working hard to elect as many Dems as possible in November.

the gym in the morning, then errands, then go home to read a good book and do light housework. We travel when we feel like it. I volunteer for an environmental group since my main preoccupation is climate change. I don't do anything I don't want to do, really. It's so pleasant.

Been in the dumps since election night. At first I thought I was just grieving because my husband passed away October 29th right before the election. However, he had been bedridden from a stroke for 6 months so his passing was more of a relief. But the blues haven't lifted and I seem to be wasting hours a day reading the news. I live in a democratic desert surrounded by those with maga hats. I'm grateful they wear the red hats because it frees their hands from carrying their sign that says "stupid". Sigh

the downside
i live in a condo project. 24 buildings each with say 16 units. all have private entrances. my unit is an end one. I am on the pond and my view is woods and water. perfect for a recluse....most everyone else look out at other condos and people....a guy more reclusive than even i died a bit ago....they found him cause his mail was piling up....he was shall we say rather ripe.....i do hope he died quickly and that he did not lay on the floor suffering for days unable to get help....Social gadflys are missed more quickly...I know there are programs where you check in on a daily basis....but still

upside
been keeping busy with political stuff. not so much by choice but stuff needs to get done. so i go to events and feel uncomfortable.
in the back ground as possible...pretending to be wallpaper....not sure if that is really an upside...but it is what it is
