I feel my relationship hanging by a thread

I’m not sure where else to put this, and if it needs to be moved, please move it.

I’d been in a three month relationship with someone who I fell for and she fell for me. I knew we didn’t agree completely on everything, but she told me didn’t like Biden or trump, so be it.

I’ve attacked TFG and the cult a few times in front of her, referring to them as trump trash, etc. She said people were entitled to their opinion, so be it.

I knew she didn’t like illegal immigrants being here, but she dropped different stuff in the past about corporal punishment in school or her God being taken out of schools.

So, today, for the anniversary of 9/11, she had the day off of work, we discussed where both of us were at when it happened and she said a generation of kids don’t know about 9/11 and they won’t know other history with Confederate monuments being taken down. Then she’s saying all this other stuff like how the wall should finish being built, how this country is a ****hole, how refugees shouldn’t be here because they get healthcare and her insurance says she makes too much and given the choice between Kamala and trump, she’ll vote for trump and she does not like Kamala.

She just told me she doesn’t like it, but just won’t vote this year.

She says who she voted for is one of my business and she talked about how hard woman worked to earn the right to vote. I brought to her attention many trumpers would love to see the 19th Amendment repealed, and she said there were good and bad people on both sides in politics.

She doesn't seem like a good fit for someone with the screen name EnergizedLib.

Good luck!

She’s been my first official girlfriend in seven years, only my second one ever, first one lasted four months. I’m currently on three months with this one.

I Never Thought of It That Way: How to Have Fearlessly Curious Conversations in Dangerously Divided Times

It has some guidance I've found helpful on having meaningful conversations across various types of divisions that are aimed at connecting rather than changing minds -- and paradoxically, when you gain deeper understanding, with less focus on conclusions and more focus on personal experience that shaped those conclusions, while holding firm to your own values, there are often moments of insight and a loosening of opposing positions.

You chose a screen name on a Democratic board that reflects your life principles and values.
She does not seem to share them; she may be fun & exciting, but at depth, she does seem to be compatible with you

To politics, but didn’t like trump. Seeing more of him because of me she, now, thinks he’s an idiot.

It would be like having a nice fluffy pillow - getting ready for a nice relaxing and comfortable nights sleep. But a pillowcase made of 60 grit sandpaper was placed over your new pillow. You go to sleep and the grit is cutting up your face. You wake up in the morning with a pillow saturated in blood and little chunks of flesh. That does not seem like a relaxing or comfortable way to get a good night's sleep.

That relationship with Ms. Micro-MAGA might prove to be setting yourself up for failure too. She seems to be not too flexible or tolerant of the other.

Good luck.
