I wanted to share an amazing act of kindness with you all. It's not about the who or what, it's about the impression they've given.
I've been adjusting to life on a fixed income. My whole world changed when I became disabled. There have been days that were not so great, but I'm trying to come at it from a positive view.
Kindness is what has kept hope and joy alive in my heart through it all.
Kindness is the name of this amazing stranger who reminded me of the good humans. I've never heard their voice or seen their smile, but I hope that one day they will know how truly grateful I am.
Thank you. I caught the kindness bug. Currently giving it to all my DU friends.

When I go shopping, I'm kind to all, and even if nobody visits my gorgeous place (on a ridge with unobstructed glorious sunrises and sunsets), I planning to move closer to my daughter, and people in general, so I can whip up a batch of raviolis and a cannoli or two.
I keep these lazy people in my heart. ❤️
Until then, they give me an excuse not to straighten up the place, though I'm not terribly proud of the situation. Working on it!
I am practicing piano, so when things change, there will be some fun.
I believe that we are all connected 🪷 even when it's not clear at all, but I am staying positive and share that in all my encounters. DU folks have been fun online friends and I met a couple of neighbors in this wilderness via DU.
