It seems like the social media mindset, if I can call it that, is part of the problem. Some think any kind of unusual behavior -- even obnoxious behavior -- is acceptable on the grounds that it will get views when posted. (Loved the Godzilla roar/scream sound effect, by the way.)

While traveling in Italy n the 60's, I overheard one of my fellow travelers say "they don't even speak English".

That is why in all my travels, I avoid Americans!
