needs to happen.

(15,703 posts)This battle has many fronts and we only need to win one to take the title.

(3,076 posts)Hillary has to win Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, AND Michigan. What do you mean only one?

(15,703 posts)Winning recounts in all 3 states by Dec. 19 is a tall order yes and evidence of tampering is sure to have been scrubbed by now but if such evidence is inadvertently discovered in any of thousands of "insertion points" and the public gets wind of it then the game changes dramatically.
p.s. consider how fast Stein raised the recount money on Thanksgiving and Black Friday when the public is supposedly paying no attention to news. The whole world is paying attention and it won't be so easy to make this one go away.

(15,703 posts)so to speak. They clearly weren't expecting Hillary to ask for any recounts, and had their talking points primed in case she made noises in that direction, and of course she wouldn't, and the rules make it impossible for just about anyone else to. And since Stein did even worse than she'd been polling, as they appear to have swiped half her votes, they no doubt expected her to dissolve in shame, too. But she surprised everybody and now they're scrambling to cover their asses and shut her down with injunctions so all things considered I'd rate the chances of a dramatic peripety before the 19th at about 50/50.

(36,119 posts)it'll be evidence that the conspiracy is much larger and more pervasive than we even thought.
Eventually we'll be at the 2 394 992 yard line for the 3.23459 x 10^5th down and be forced to contract FedEx to fly the goalposts to Cairo, where they can put one leg on either side of the Nile.

(56,580 posts)The very fact that the Trump camp is acting like someone tossed botulinium into their soup is reason enough to go through with this.

(2,003 posts)Election workers spent an hour on this before deciding to award one vote to Hillary Clinton for president and a vote to Marco Rubio for vice president.
Meanwhile, presumably there's a Hillary Rubio out there whose road to the White House just got a little more difficult.

@fawfulfan
I view it as a serious red flag that the 3 WI counties with the biggest shift to GOP since 2012 all refused a hand recount.

(27,726 posts)See the link in the OP.
Totaling up the N & O columns of the spreadsheet shows 394,150 votes for Trump and 332,431 votes for Clinton. That's about 725k votes counted out of about 2.8 Million cast... or 26%

(27,726 posts)There's apparently an error with the Woodlawn numbers in the spreadsheet and some numbers in there are not complete.
According to this count, the net change in the gap is three votes.

(4,544 posts)it would be a GREAT idea to do an audit AND recount in every state. If he wants to undermine democratic principles, then he needs to have proof of this non-existent "massive voter fraud" or shut his goddamned pie hole. We know how little chance there is of him EVER shutting it, but it never hurts to aim high.
