Anyone who has not seen the movie or read the novel "The Manchurian Candidate" needs to either see

it or read it.

Trump is a real life Manchurian Candidate. And the scary thing is what can be done about it. I know of no constitutional mechanism for redoing the election. And getting the electors to change their votes is a long shot. I am scared and I don't know what to do about it.

Who guards the guardians? With all branches of government under the control of the GOP, which cares only about the power it will gain from Trump's presidency, how can any of this be investigated? Trump's "Justice" Department won't do anything. People should be in prison for this but nothing will be done.

and apparently does what he's told when he's told to so as long as he doesn't become inconvenient I imagine he'll do well. Needless to say, that's a big "if," but he's gotten this far, so he'd have to screw up pretty badly. But if he does, poof he's gone.

p.s. on the bright side: if the subpoenas start flying, he'll be the first to get tossed overboard.
