Where's the beef? Remember that. The GOP had no meaty Hillary scandal.

Instead they hit the salad bar and got a mini scandals of the private email scandal, her statement on superpreditors 20 years ago, Obama not being allowed to do any Keynesian spending after 2010, the Clinton Foundation, Comey being threatened with leaks, Clinton picking the way too nice Kaine as vp (I'm sure her many rich centrist donors weighed in on her vp pick), trickle down policies for 36 years that had the rust belt sore and angry, her doing nothing wrong regarding Benghazi, and on and on. There must have been 50 themes they kept going to. All small things. But the salad bar with which the GOP could chip away at Hillary was absolutely huge. We must learn how to counter such well laid plans. Granted the GOP had 20 years to work on it. But each little theme would alienate some people from voting for her, or voting at all. It was a giant gish Gallup.

3. Sure, but how to conquer it? The clintons, with their now long history in DC,

Gave the repukes a trainload of ammo to use against them.

Surely they would try the same against any dem, but the clintons in particular.

Anything rooted in truth are the things that irked lefties (i know it was Bill in office, but they are tied together at the hip by a LOT of ppl) such as NAFTA, prison & welfare reform, and deregulation of the media.

However the GOP are flaming hypocrites when they cry about those things, because they weren't for the people on those issues either.

Like when trump stole bernies populist themes after he (well, his advisors) saw how well they resonated. As if anyone with a functional brain would ever believe that trump is a populist. He took lip service to a whole new level in his joke of a campaign.

Sadly, a lot of dems, on DU at least, instead of hammering on him for his populism being faker than his hair or tan, got mad at bernie for giving him shit to use against her.

in the distrust. And the media constantly asking--why isn't Hillary likable capped it off. All the other stuff was icing on the cake.
