As I found out the hard way last night, there's even fake Anonymous!!!

The Anonymous Official account on youtube is a fake, right wing hack.

I didn't even bother to check Anonymous global. I suspect the exact same thing.

I watched it late, and kept thinking it was fake the whole time!

I was gonna mention it, but I was so sleepy. There were just so many things that were done wrong...not including the message.

That old adage is more true today than ever. We have been here before during the age when yellow journalism reigned supreme. Now we have the yellow internet which is much more efficient at spreading nonsense.

quite a while ago. Anonymous hackers gained a high profile during the Occupy Wall Street movement. Left leaning folks put so much confidence in Anonymous. It was an easy target for right wing activists because there is no copyright or trademark protections. Anonymous is anonymous. It's not just a name it's a method. Anyone can use it and apparently have.
