No amount of releasing opposition propaganda will convince the other side. From this point the minority who won the election will have to subjugate their opposition with violence and physical threats. It comes down to who do you hurt and what means you use to hurt them?

...and cede more and more power to the billionaires. They'll actually be weakening their own influence, but the effect will be as bad or worse.
