Occupy Underground Mardi-Gras Housewarming Party Thread (Catholics are now excused due to Lent)

YOU KNOW WHAT THIS CALLS FOR, RIGHT???

Where my Huey P. Long At?

<< We've searched high and low for our New Orleans correspondent over on Occupy DU2 encampment on this most auspicious day.

Occupy Underground Group was born on Mardi Gras 2012 and we couldn't pass that up, despite me shirking off keeping an eye on the forum launch on the designated birthday, Mardi Gras! And before you ask, I wasn't out drinking all day on Mardi Gras, what makes you ask?

As your attorney, I advise you to rent a fast car with no top.

Acapulco shirts. Youtube for special music. Get the hell out of New Orleans for 24 hours.

Ruins my day. Because of course I'll have to go with you.

And we'll have to arm ourselves... To da teef!

FORGET YOU, OCCUPY IS A PEACEFUL MOVEMENT!

We need pro-occupy image macros, slogans, memes, etc. Of course the right wing and the 53%ers don't have a sense of humor so their work product is generally inferior and doesn't catch on (the original caption read "TENT OF DREAMS -- where you can pretend to be homeless" or some such humorless nonsense) but still.

It was also a shitty jpg resolution. I cleaned it up

I have a bunch of my own occupy pics I wanted to upload but I don't have a place to host them that isn't linked to my personal account.

Here's a fully exploitable version for you guys to play with

The font is Goudy Old Style, BTW. I don't know what the standard demotivational poster font is ("Imprint"?)

Looking forward to your pictures. True about the right not having as good a sense of humor, they are too uptight generally. You are very creative. Thank you for the picture.

Anyone want to celebrate the forum launch or just use it as a place for dropping news threads? Nobody's even said hi

Music, anything? I'd post an excellent Cajun rock band from New Orleans but I forget what it's called. Anyone here have any knowledge of Cajun rock?

They are all trying to find their way around the new place but I bet if you had 'BEER' in your title, this place would be crowded!

On the new Roleplaying forum.

You can do political and economic roleplaying online, but you can't roleplay beer.

Wait, scratch that.

You can't roleplay FREE beer.

BYOB is perfectly possible on an online forum!!
