With all compassion to the victims of this and other shootings, perhaps DHS and FBI and police can stop looking at Occupy as terrorists? OK? Sorry if this is "too soon" but FFS, the tealiban carry around guns and make threats, know whut'll mean, Vern?

(27,670 posts)to the status quo system of the 1%.
So the police agencies of the 1% diligently track Occupy, frequently violating the Constitution, in order to keep us from changing the world.
But violent conservatives and conservative hate groups, such as neo-nazis, white supremacists, and wacko RW fundamentalist religious sects, are not a threat the 1% status quo.
The 1% knows that these conservative haters are too stupid to do anything but kill a few innocent "peasants", and that they will ignorantly vote to give up their freedom to the 1%. And the 1% kills innocent peasants for profit every day. Killing innocent peasants, directly or as victims of collateral damage, is just a matter of being business as usual to the 1%.
Even though Occupy is non-violent and is not a terrorist group, Occupy is a major concern of the 1%, so they instruct their police agencies to monitor, arrest, and assault Occupiers with impunity.
Uncle Sam Faces Demand Over Occupy Surveillance

"It is imperative that the public gain a full and complete understand of the scope of FBI surveillance of Occupy movements in Northern California - where some of the country's most brutal police crackdowns have occurred - and whether FBI activities in connection with Occupy comport with legal and ethical guidelines," the complaint says.
The FBI has a well-documented history of monitoring political activists, and "there are concrete reasons to believe that the FBI has been surveilling the Occupy movement," the groups say.
"There is great urgency in shedding light on the extent of the FBI's role in surveilling Occupy activists, and in particular, on whether the FBI has complied with local and national norms in monitoring those engaged in First Amendment activity," the complaint says. "Just last year, the agency made public a new edition of its Domestic Investigations and Operations Guide, re-igniting an on-going matter of public debate about whether the FBI's standards for its investigations intrude unduly on civil liberties."
The global power of the financial centers is so great, that they can afford not to worry about the political tendency of those who hold power in a nation, if the economic program (in other words, the role that nation has in the global economic megaprogram) remains unaltered. The financial disciplines impose themselves upon the different colors of the world political spectrum in regards to the government of any nation. The great world power can tolerate a leftist government in any part of the world, as long as the government does not take measures that go against the needs of the world financial centers. But in no way will it tolerate that an alternative economic, political and social organization consolidate. For the megapolitics, the national politics are dwarfed and submit to the dictates of the financial centers. It will be this way until the dwarfs rebel . . .
Republicans Blasted Obama Administration For Warning About Right-Wing Domestic Terrorism
The cops are way too busy watching Occupy to worry about conservative domestic hate groups killing a few innocent peasants.
The 1% is in control, the 1% has its priorities, and the 1% employs the cops.
