the reputation of the US as a democracy? The images from that city alone, the brutality of the police, the betrayal of the mayor, went all over the world and disgraced this country.

people who were injured. Especially those two veterans. And not a word about or to them from any of our elected officials who couldn't stop talking about them when sending them to war. But nothing at all, not even a call to see how they were doing, when they came home and tried to exercise the rights they were told they were fighting for.
