Tuesday Morning: Direct Actions
Tuesday Night : Eviction Watch

#FortLucero and Occupy Fights Foreclosures is planning to take direct action against Deutsche Bank to let them know that we won't back down until the Lucero family can keep their home. If Deutsche Bank has their way in court, the Lucero's could lose their home as early as Wednesday. But with your help and some Direct Action, Deutsche Bank might make other plans.

We are in the process of planning these actions and will update this page as we have more details.

As of now, we have scheduled -

9:30AM Buses at #FortLucero
The buses will leave from the Lucero home and will then go to the Denny's behind Union Station at 10:00 AM.

10AM - pick up comrades from Denny's and depart to secret locations.

3-4PM - Return to Downtown LA and the Lucero's

We are also inviting people to come and camp at the Lucero home on Tuesday night. The family can be evicted by sheriffs any time after midnight on Tuesday.

are allowed to continue.

It is very nice that OWS is respecting that they are pacifists and do not want to create any problems for them.

But where is Congress? WHY has there not been a moratorium on foreclosures which should have begun as soon as they discovered all the fraud involved?

Spain has shown some humanity after the suicide of one of its own citizens and its government is reacting to the people's needs.

Here we don't even talk about the many people who died or committed suicide as a result of losing everything. We just allow the train wreck known as Wall Street Bankers to continue to destroy people's lives.

I really have so much respect for the members of OWS, the only hope it seems, for those in trouble in this country.

4. America may have more repsect for capitalism than sympathy for human rights. I hope I'm incorrect.

And yes, the government has known about robosigning for two+ years and could have done something, anything about it.

Did you hear this man's story about how banks fraudulently foreclosed upon a friend of his? She arrived home after work to find her locks changed and people living in her house.

THE WHOLE WORLD IS WATCHING DEUTSCHE BANK!
#FortLucero was on the cover of La Opinion today! It is the 2nd most read newspaper in Los Angeles, after The LA Times. It is an internationally known Spanish language newspaper.
The headline reads: "Alto a los desalojos" = "Halt the Foreclosures"
The sign to the right reads: "DEFIENDAN SUS CASAS" = "DEFEND YOUR HOMES"

was to make an appointment to review her case and sit down like normal human beings and talk to her.

If she loses her house, as my friend, she may have a good lawsuit against them. That is what my friend is doing to Wells Fargo. The Govt offered her a settlement under the so-called agreement that was made with the banks. Because they are afraid of all the lawsuits they are going to have to deal with. They offered her $800.00. An insult but confirmation that they recognize they wrongfully foreclosed on her.
