I tried to read the pdf, but couldn't. Becoming day by day more allergic to government language, just can't read it. So can you summarize in plain common speak what they are saying, please? Thanks.

As more and more countys and local municipalitys deploy their fleets of 'needed for law and order' drones......
They will become as common as birds in the sky. Or around here geese at this time of year.

How will our law obiding, freedom loving, well armed against government terny Tea Baggers respond to this?

This is likely to end badly.

My neighbor on the 'left' is into RC airplanes. A drone would impress him. He would want one. He would be over here trying to talk me into helping build one. After a few Molsons I'de get him to understand that it would be far too expensive. I'de get him to understand that their was no way in hell that I'de put my 35 year old muscle car out in the snow so we could park the drone in my garage.

As to the neighbor on the 'right'. Now that's a different story. Typical Teabagger type he would get all crazed out about the gubbernment spying on him. He would carry on about Obama. He would get out his AK-47 and start taking potshots at it. Taking potshots at any low flying aircraft. Not a good thing when you live close to a small airport.

Sooner or later he would hit something. It would fall from the sky, crash through my garage roof and wipe out one of the few things that came out of Detroit in the '70s that could make the white lines look like spots.

So much for ending in tears.

Do you think these serviliest/teabagger types would not do something like that?
Do you think these serviliest/teabagger types would know the difference between a drone and a Piper Cub?

The more drones their are out and about, the more chances that some nut job is going to start shooting at them.

On edit: Some artistic exaggeration was employed here. Not as as far form the truth as I'de like

1) They are not expensive:
http://www.slate.com/blogs/future_tense/2012/09/13/drone_goes_missing_in_washington_d_c_video_.html

2) As for the very expensive MIC versions, you don't shoot them with AK-47, you build a cheap device in your garage, take over the signal and fly those multimillion MIC drones where you wan't, just like you do with your own drones.

Interest and willingness to do so has very little to do with which party you vote or don't.

1) A parrot would be a hoot! Biggest problem is I'm not an Apple person. Research required. Wouldn't be the crazyest thing I talked Windoz into doing.
2) Yes you knock out it's electronics. It works out all the same. Some def, dumb and blind thing would fall from the sky, crash through my garage roof and wipe out one of the few things that came out of Detroit in the '70s that could make the white lines look like spots.

Unless I could get it to where I could get a little bit of experience driving the darn thing.
Stop giving me ideas. You been out drinking with one of my neighbors or something?

with lot's of small and bigger kids doing it: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Radio-controlled_aircraft

Of course I'm boozing with your neighbors right now, goofing around with RC toys very very drunk... bur danmwally, we pwomish noffa hic! yaaawww gawaaatzch

Most likely people to take over and goof around with MIC drone is a bunch of math club nerds below voting age, just because it's possible - and FUN! People who strongly dislike police state are only second likeliest.

But that's just America. People who are learning to do it in Pakistan etc. are doing it to stop terror and murder of their people by Obama administration.
