Don't you just love it when rich, white, male commentators lecture women and minorities?

Some of the most obvious examples of this being (of course) the Fox News Channel, talk radio, or the Republican House caucus, but you can find these commentators throughout the mainstream, dominant culture.

Because the unsolicited lectures of rich white men on "the decline of the family" (and blaming it on feminism) or "the decline of black culture", etc. are exactly what people need to hear!

or when a man holds forth on a lengthy, patronizing lecture on a subject he knows very little about but which is his target's major field.

Yes, there's "womansplaining," too, but it's far less common.
