Dear Actual Regular Members of HoF:

There is a troll-y, juvenile, drama-addict that has spent a fair number of posts trashing this group on two different websites. I want to apologize for any part I may have had in this. I stand with this group in your goals and views for the most part, although I am not a member. I do not have the fortitude to take on the crap many of you are constantly dealing with.

I confess to also being a bit weak when it comes to the flamebait that individual (and others) on a probably too-regular basis. I think because one or two times they got their ass handed to them by one or more of you as individuals, as well as my occasional retorts to some of the ridiculous nonsense that gets sprayed around they think I am HoF and HoF is me...or some such warped "logic."

Actually, I see that in a number of other individuals that have chips on their shoulders about anybody confronting sexist bullshit. They think it is all because of HoF. I suppose that could be seen as flattering in some ways, but the bottom line to me is it just confirms a lot of projection, shitty reading comprehension, and need to demonize women in general and THAT is actually kind of frightening.

Anyway, sorry for possibly bringing more nasty behavior from trollish jerks.

It wouldn't matter. Even if HOF were shut down, the same trolls would find another target and keep on trolling.

No need for apologies. This person is just pissed off that she got two hides and then decided to whine and complain that it was all Hof's fault somehow.

Anyone with a brain can see that she is looking for some sort of "confirmation" that her behavior is justified. Bringing "HoF' in the mix is the only way she could do it.

No worries. I think she brought it all on herself.

the person she's talking about knows that Kali isn't a regular HOF poster. She made HOF her target simply because it's popular over there. It's scapegoating, pure and simple.

so much of the net makes there money this way. what is another, meh... right?

the games have been obvious from the start. they play then giggle over there, like anyone gives a shit.

the reality is, one can go to any of the "flame bait threads" created here on du or womens issue thread and can clearly see the majority, the strong majority, that are speaking out against sexism and misogyny are not members of hof. it is a sweeping majority of all of du, that opposes sexism. they need to make it about a small group of people with a loud voice to try to minimize effectiveness. but, it has never been a small group of women, but the majority on du.

they have lost the battle and they have to gather on a board of rejects to throw out insults. wow. lol. totally... impressed, i am... not.

I know whom you speak of. Until she started her tantrums over on DI I wasn't even familiar with HOF. It's not you Kali that has started anything and as near as I can tell her problem is with the bottle and you, and anyone about, are just collateral damage once she gets started
