In an interview with Radio Times she has said that she is worried about the jokes made by some male comedians, including Dapper Laughs, real name Daniel OReilly, who was sacked by ITV last year after rape jokes made by him emerged online.
Its not all right to make rape jokes, Perkins said. I think comedy has become very tribal and worryingly sectarian."

Besides the obvious problems, rape jokes are a cheap shot, a replacment for talent. Even George Carlin couldn't make Rape jokes work-- he told cutesy little unfunny lame ones-- and there are few few comedians who have that level of talent.
