If you logout of DU you can probably see it on your post, but if you login to DU you can't. The URL for avatars is not loading properly, at least for me. It started this morning. Others will be able to see it, you can not if logged in. Here's more info. (I found from another DU'er in a Google search.)

So everyone should be able to see other member's avatars but quite possibly not their own (although they likely have a cached version their browser is using).

It's 'upload.democraticunderground.com' It is not responding, so you and I can't see our avatars, but others can.

I don't know what's going on, but I see other people's avatars and signature lines that look like downtown Las Vegas.
