Easy way to take and share screenshots (Firefox):




The last step only shares a link. If you want to upload the actual image:

1. Choose the image you want in your post from "My Shots."

2. Right click on the image and choose "Copy Image Location."

3. Paste it into the body of your post. Easy Peasy!

tried your suggestion but instead of pasting the cropped part it pasted the whole firefox page tho

1. Click the icon.

2. Move your cursor over the page to the general area that you want to capture (you should see a gray box with a dashed border).

3. Left click you mouse (you should see a white box).

4. You can now increase/decrease/move the box to to your liking.

5. Click the "Save" button (you can right click and choose "Copy Image Location" now or access the image at a different time under "My Shots." ).

This saves your image online, but not on your computer (which as you pointed out, you can also do). This skips the step of having to use an image hosting site like Imgur.
