And then copy and paste the link. I always preview mine to make sure it turned out okay - including the size.

I choose the size that says "for message boards" and use the direct link.

With Photobucket, I could resize any photo or crop it. With this site, I just have to upload the correct size and choose the right link - but I had to do that with Photobucket, too.

Photobucket wasn't nearly as user friendly as this site. Wonder how long before we'll need to become "members"?

Choose the size or crop it, even make it brighter. I've also learned to search for a duplicate photo for a news story to find an identical one that's the right size and has a link that works! But I also learned about this site right here on DU and so far it's worked fine for me - and I did "join" since I uploaded 3 categories of photos and worried about finding them again.

from my photo library (on iPad or iPhone) and copy and paste the link without having to download any personal photos. Hopefully this site stays around as it works great!

And I've used it for the same reason that I originally learned how to use Photobucket right here on DU - to post a photo of my dog!

He's a Brussels Griffon, pet shop rescue. He doesn't enjoy having his picture taken so most of the decent ones I have were taken in my car when he's just left the vet or the groomer and he's happy and distracted.

Previously, I've adopted senior dogs, so he was the only puppy I've had since the pup I grew up with. But Jack just turned 12 a week ago today, hard to believe. Time sure flies...

I trained my first puppy myself, but I took Jack to doggy class - twice. I'm thinking he may need a refresher.

And senior dogs are the best, I've adopted several. The eldest was my beloved cocker spaniel, Barney, who was 10 or 11 when he found me - and I had him for 8 wonderful years. I sure hope that Jack is with me for at least that long.

9. For my personal photos (or ones I've photoshopped) I use Imgur.com
