My suggestion (and one I follow) is to log out and go elsewhere for a while. Take a long break. I've often found the posters, topics, "cllimate" that pissed me off were no longer evident a few months later.

That said, there isn't really a way to delete your account. You can change your password and close down the email you used to register. Doing so effectively means your account is gone to you.

Spent scanning that tragic little corner of the web. Nadin is like an Eveready battery - she just keeps on keeping on.

Her mother died recently so she's been busy. The owner hasn't been around since treason weekend except to post in a Manziel thread. Haven't seen a showercap post since that day either. I knew most of whose left there for years so only place to see them. Really surprised to see Kana Aina get the ban hammer at DU of all people.

It's funny, but when you see people post elsewhere, a little light goes on, 'Yeah - thought I hadn't seen that name at DU for a while.'

It's not a really good look, having 95% of posts per page written by one guy.

In the last couple months I have had 3 of my posts deleted. First time ever... I felt it was completely unfair.

But it is against DU rules to discuss their moderation policy.

and I've learned to ignore certain people (although I never officially put anyone on Ignore) and restrict some of my comments. It's the only way to survive this place.
