I would imagine it is pretty trivial for site admins to know if several user names are posting from the same IP address.

Or are you wanting to know the real name behind the screen name?

MIRT watches out for socks, zombies, etc - only Admin through check of IP addresses can spot them.

Sometimes MIRT reports suspicions, but often the admins check themselves.
