Related: About this forumNeed a blank generic LEASE agreement form. For a standard house to rent.
I tried Google Docs but found nothing except some stupid scam that involves monthly fees after a so called "free" week.
We have some tenants ready to sign the lease today if possible (they have moved from interstate and check out).
Don't want to be a landlord but circumstances force us to rent the house.
Thanks

(2,490 posts)If you have any doubts about the one you purchased, I can take a quick glance at the template for you, just let me know.
I would ABSOLUTELY require then to purchase renter's insurance (liability only). If they have somebody over to the house that slips and falls, or otherwise hurts themselves, it will protect you.
The liability-only insurance can be obtained online in CA for ~$15/mo, so I am assuming it wouldn't be too much more. Just my unsolicited $.02.
