DU Community Help
Related: About this forumTwitter links stopped opening for some reason.
Anybody know why? There are so many more posts lately that are just links to a tweet. They used to open if you gave it a few seconds. Now you have to go to Twitter. I'm assuming Twitter did something because there are now rabbit holes everywhere.

(1,554 posts)I use Google Chrome. So far no problem on DU but other web sites have problems with twitter.
Try opening DU in an Incognito Window, or whatever your browser has for that, then see if you still have the problem.

(9,651 posts)Chrome opens it automatically. Firefox doesn't. I'll try fiddling...

(12,132 posts)And now I just don't read posts that are nothing but a link to twitter.
Because I can't.
There area few kind people who take the extra step of copying and pasting the tweet text into the DU post but they are few and far between.

Oh well. I thank the posters who include tweet text in their posts.

This is a minor problem in the scheme of things. But still...

(9,651 posts)Discovered just now that while on Firefox I was logged in went to reply to a post and got the login prompt followed by the enable cookies prompt, which are enabled.
So, anybody? HELP from Chrome where I cannot easily read the font.
