(8,443 posts)Mac users can also try OmniWeb. Omniweb at one time was the very best browser. Apple was too chicken and didnt buy it.

(141,457 posts)with a "standing" OP created just over a year ago (was a follow-on to an earlier one that was abandoned and updated regularly).
The timing of the last edit in the thread I am attempting to update, occurred Oct. 31st. Haven't tried my other standing ones recently but have a feeling the situation may be the same. Replying to that OP is fine. Editing and then either attempting to preview or save the edited OP gives the 403.
If this is the case universally, then it's possible that every pinned thread (or other regularly updated OP created before Nov. 1st that gets periodic update edits), will be DOA for further edits.
