Why do I keep getting logged off?

I check “keep me logged in” or whatever the exact words are, on my phone, iPad, and computer. No one else ever uses them. But every few days, I am logged off some or all of them. What good is that checkbox if it ignores the check?

There are also server-side conditions that can cause a reset.

It's up to the site admin how long your login sessions last. If you don't 'keep me logged in' then it's very quick. But even with 'keep me logged in' it will log you out after a while. How long is up to the web site administrator.

And if you reset/delete your browser cookies, you've logged yourself out.
