Twitter links not showing content.. only links?

It seems any time someone posts a link to twitter, only the link appears and you have to click to see it.

Is this the result of the new api restrictions?

If it's a permanent thing, can people stop posting just the link? At least post a screenshot or the text from the post. I'm not clicking though every empty post to see what is behind them.

What we end up with a clicky subject and a mere link. A waste of time......

Not typical, but they do eventually load. And I notice because I don't want to give Musk any clicks.

Windows 10 PC with Firefox

There is a pause before tweets load.

I just viewed https://www.democraticunderground.com/100217631491 which has five tweets linked and took about seven seconds to fully load.

Maybe one of your extensions (like an ad blocker) is causing this.
