If you want to know the air quality in your area go to the following address:
https://www.airnow.gov/
Then, at that location, type in your zip code and right away you get the air quality in your area...
From the E.P.A. ---U.S. Environmental Protection Agency ,,,EPA.... A branch of the U.S.
Federal Government that monitors air quality all over the United States of America.
You can find the air quality anywhere in the U.S.A. by looking at the map at that link. Great Site.

I use the Weather App on my phone. Its great. Today our Air Quality Number in western NY was 23❗️ Last week at this time it was 264 and the smell was very strong. I was astonished that the smoke came so far west of Quebec. We have had rain for two days so that has helped immensely. Thank Goddess!!😊

My 12 year-old Granddaughter's Soccer game was cancelled. As was Lacrosse practice for the 10 year-old Granddaughter.

(38,726 posts)that same team thought up how to make it clear and simple for everyone to read. The red dots and the green dots
also represent the simplicity of the map. Guess what??
..... IT WAS NOT SO SIMPLE TO THINK UP OF A MAP THAT EVERYONE COULD UNDERSTAND...SO MY GUESS IS THAT
PEOPLE AT EPA CARED SO MUCH ABOUT GETTING THE WORD OUT ABOUT POLUTION IN THE U.S. A.,
THAT THEY WORKED LONG AND HARD ON THE MAP MAKING IT EASIER TO UNDERSTAND IN A WAY THAT ANYONE COULD UNDERSTAND THEIR MAP.....
HAT IS OFF TO EPA FOR MAKING A MAP SO EVERYONE COULD UNDERSTAND IT...
