May we be allowed to change our user names when the world changes next month? . . .

As we’re entering a new period of uncertainty and change, may we have an opportunity to update our user names to reflect our new realities?

saved a lot.

Plus - especially these days, with AI companies - lots of others have scraped the site.

And I doubt there's any way to delete the oldest DU mesages. Like this, from 2011:

If you look at a profile it will say what the previous name was.
