My fat finger actually hit alert rather than recommend a post

There's quite a difference, LOL! Too bad they are located so close together for my fat fingers. What I want to know is, is there a way to back off from that alert button or do I just not complete the alert function by identifying a grounds for alert?

you go all the way through the process by selecting an rule and then hitting the "I believe the post breaks this rule" button. If you didn't do that, no alert was sent. Simply opening the list of rules doesn't do anything on its own.

If you open the list of rules by accidentally tapping the Alert button, you can close the list by tapping the Alert button again.
