It's absolutely chilling how little concern the American government had for Pacific Islanders and GIs when doing nuclear testing.

(20,768 posts)She loved the people she met there, but confessed a fear for what her time there might mean for her future health.
Watching a documentary at one point, I was struck by the knowledge that she probably knew most of the people I saw on the screen.
I also knew a man who was a Navy corpsman at Operation Crossroads. He got to deal with sailors who were ill-prepared for their mission. (These sailors are decontaminating a ship that has just survived a nuclear blast.)

(25 posts)I don't savvy to cope with a atomic power, however I actually have detected that somewhere that nuclear weapons terribly dangerous for creature, and that i begin to gather the data on nuclear weapons.
